Applications - Cement or Water Treated Bases

One of the prime products manufactured in our Pugmills is the Treated Base (TB) used under the final Asphalt Layers during roads construction. Accurate dosing of cement gives greater strength to the final mix. TB is used as a low cost, high strength base for the final road.

Typically, road base would be transported in Dumper Trucks, spread evenly on the area and compacted repeatedly using rollers.

Alternatively, water additions within the Pugmill to crushed rock mixes makes for a better sub-surface, as it spreads more easily with much lower dust emissions and compacts more effectively under rollers
